Together with he movement caliber 50 , a special watch was manufactured for the Czechoslovak Army: the watch with steel case, black dial, illuminated hands and rotating bezel. This model was called Orlik and was produced between 1966 and 1968.
The construction of the new factory, where the company still resides, began in 1970. At that time, it was rather usual to supplement the standard production with that of military equipment.Given the nature of ELTON´s production, the added portfolio included mainly precision components for artillery ammunition igniting systems, components for optical finders in tanks etc. However, the new building and the supplementary technological base related to military production, brought to Elton a significant expansion of opportunities.
The production of the movements PRIM caliber 50 and successive modifications was finished in 1971.
