ELTON hodinářská,a.s., a producer of traditional Czech watches PRIM, is a purely Czech private company that that is founder and also the only holder of more than 50 years old tradition of a production of wristwatches in the Czech Republic (History).
Since 1949, more than 16 million watches have been produced from which 15 million with mechanical movement. Their quality, reliability, endurance, and classical design have been the key players of building the good name brand PRIM.
The brand PRIM is considered a gem of the Czech Republic, which ensues from a public enquiry in Lidove noviny where over 50 000 informants participated (the results were published (16. 9. 2002).
Thanks to the original production technology optimised for small-lot up to single-part production ELTON hodinářská, a.s. offers high-quality wristwatches, exclusive limited series and watches manufactured special according to an individual wish of a particular customer. Without an exception all of them can be produced from stainless steel 316L, damask, 18 carat gold in all of its colour variants or platinum as well.
This main manufacturing program is complemented by the manufacturing of wristwatches for advertising purposes, and a production of cases, and other components for other watch producers, especially from Germany and watch crafts from Switzerland.
